Two ex-Farepak directors agree to director disqualifications

TWO FORMER DIRECTORS of collapsed Christmas-savings business Farepak have been banned from taking similar roles.

Joanne Ponting and Stephen Hicks agreed to director disqualifications, for two years (from February) and three years (from November 2011) respectively, reported the Sunday Herald.

The undertakings, agreed with the Department for Business, avoided the need for court proceedings.

Seven other directors, including former FD Stevan Fowler, face proceedings in May.
