ACCOUNTING RISK and litigation experts Matthew Lawson and Simon Willis have joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe as partners in its London office.
Lawson and Willis join the firm from Mayer Brown, and will provide dispute services for accountants in litigation, regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
“Our accounting firm clients face an increasingly complex array of international litigation, regulation and investigations,” said Richard Martin, head of Orrick’s Accountants’ Liability practice.
“We couldn’t be happier to have two exceptional practitioners like Matthew and Simon in London, who will complement our leading U.S. and European litigation practices for professional services firms.”
The lawyers represent the top six accountants, among other firms.
