AS2011: Bank levy rising to 0.088% in 2012

Bank levy on profits wil rise to 0.088% from 0.075% as of 1 January 2012

THE BANK LEVY will rise to 0.088% on January 1 2012, taxing banks’ profits at a higher rate to “ensure they pay a fair share”.
