GEORGE CULMER is set to take the group finance chief role at Lloyds Banking Group.
Culmer, currently CFO at RSA Insurance, will take over from interim group chief executive and finance director Tim Tookey.
Lloyds is in “advanced discussions” to secure Culmer’s arrival, with his appointment subject to “appropriate regulatory approvals”. He has a 12-month notice period at RSA.
“We are pleased to be in advanced discussions to secure the services of such an outstanding chief financial officer, whose considerable track record has been widely acknowledged. We look forward to him joining us,” said Lloyds Banking Group chairman Sir Win Bischoff.
