Accountants bolster Newcastle Building Society

Two accountants have taken up non-executive directorships at Newcastle Building Society

TWO ACCOUNTANTS have joined the board of Newcastle Building Society, bolstering its non-executive directorship portfolio.

ICAEW member John Moorhouse is a former managing director of Northgate and sits on several boards, while John Morris was head of finance for HBOS’s retail division.

Chairman David Holborn, said: “These two appointments are significant for our organisation. Their extensive working knowledge of both the business and financial world bolsters the strength of our board even further. They have both excelled in their areas of expertise and we look forward to the support they will bring [us].”
