New FD builds on career at SIG
New group finance director for construction specialist SIG
CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST SIG’s new group finance director is Doug Robertson, former FD of Umeco and Seton House.
He replaces Gareth Davies who is leaving the company after 18 years, nine of which as finance director.
Chief executive Chris Davies thanked Gareth Davies for his contribution, adding: “I am delighted to welcome Doug to SIG. He brings with him extensive strategic, operational and financial experience which will prove invaluable to the group through its next stage of development.”
Earlier this year, SIG sold loss-making division Interiors Manufacturing to Laidlaw Interiors Group, which is backed by private equity company Rutland Partners, for £14m in cash.
