AORTECH’S new finance director is Eddie McDaid, former non-executive director at the biomedical technology specialist.
A chartered accountant, he was one of the co-founders of the company in 1992 and has previously served as chief executive and latterly chairman, before re-joining the board as a non-executive director in 2005.
Chief executive Frank Maguire said: “This appointment formalises a role [Eddie] has taken on with increasing energy and involvement as the business has grown and prepares itself for the next chapter.”
