Local economy would be boosted by CT cut, according to BDO white paper
REDUCING Northern Ireland’s corporation tax bill would provide a “shot in the arm” for its economy, advisors said.
A BDO white paper on corporation tax finds that reducing CT would allow the country to compete for international investment, and provide a boost to local businesses, reports the Belfast Telegraph.
The paper includes interviews with seven prominent local businesspeople.
“Each of our featured organisations are committed to Northern Ireland and all agree that any reduction will lead to a direct increase in numbers employed,” said BDO head of tax Peter Burnside.
