Chartered accountant David Lowden has been appointed to Cable & Wireless's audit committee
CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT David Lowden has been appointed to the audit, remuneration and nomination committees of Cable & Wireless Worldwide.
Lowden already holds non-executive directorships at Berendsen and William Hill, chairing the audit committee of the latter. He was chief executive of Taylor Nelson Sofres until 2008, having worked as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of the market research company.
It is anticipated that Lowden will become chair of the audit committee in due course.
