Former Powergen FD takes UK Coal role
Peter Hickson mines another non-executive role
FORMER Powergen finance director Peter Hickson has taken a non-executive role at UK Coal.
ICAEW fellow Hickson will become senior independent director on Peter Hazell’s retirement.
He served as Powergen FD between 1996 and 2002 and has held non-executive roles at Kazakhmys, Scottish Power, Marconi, RAC and London & Continental Railways. He was chairman at Anglian Water between 2003 and 2009.
A new non-executive will be sought to take over as audit committee chair following Hazell’s departure.
