    HMRC to stop publishing Time to Pay statistics

    HM REVENUE & CUSTOMS will stop issuing its quarterly statistics on tax deferral schemes later this year.

    A spokesman for HMRC confirmed July’s second-quarter report will be the last publication of its Time to Pay agreements data.

    The exercise of compiling the information was “resource intensive”, he added.

    He said a consultation took place earlier this year with responses suggesting there was “little” interest in the figures.
