RAM SWAMY has been recruited as group finance director to engineering business Hampson Industries.
Swamy, who has lived in North America, Asia and Europe, was most recently chief financial officer of pharmaceutical and health-business Goldshield.Prior to that he was CFO at medical business Iron Mountain and is certified in both the US and India.
He succeeds Howard Kimberley who steps down after ten years in the role at the aerospace engineering business.
During the past decade Kimberley has been pivotal in the growing the business from a small, UK-focused engineering and industrial company, to an international orgaisation that employs 1,400 staff across three continents.
He will continue to work with the business as a consultant during a handover period.
