UK investment is undermined by the tax system, among other factors, according to Accountancy Age readers
TAX is “just one of many reasons” investors are not attracted to the UK, according to a straw poll of Accountancy Age readers.
Three-quarters agreed tax is one major primary cause among many deterring would-be investors, while 21% described tax as “the key reason”.
Just 4% believe the UK has bigger issues to worry about than tax, potentially placing more significance on factors like over-reliance on service industries and a lack of manufacturing capability.
