LADBROKES HAS appointed Green King’s group finance director as its new chief financial officer.
Ian Bull will join the bookmakers from 4 July having overseen the brewer’s expansion over the past five years. He had previously held senior positions at the BT Group, the Walt Disney Company and Whitbread.
Ladbrokes CEO Richard Glynn said: “We selected Ian after an extensive search because he brings a wealth of knowledge within a regulated leisure sector as well as a background in growing businesses within both the digital and retail space. His experience in operations and of managing a tight focus on costs will also be applied effectively in the Ladbrokes business.”
Ian Bull said: “I am looking forward to working in this new and exciting area, and to bringing my knowledge and experience to the new Ladbrokes team to help the business deliver its plans for growth in what is a very competitive market.”
