A NEW senior partner has been appointed at PKF.
Richard Bint takes over the role from Ian Mills, who steps down at the end of the month after 30 years’ service with the firm.
Bint, an audit partner, joined the firm as a trainee in 1975 and is currently head of its professional services division. He has been a member of the firm’s board since 2002.
“It’s an exciting time to be appointed senior partner as the firm looks firmly towards growth and the future and I am looking forward to being an integral part of this,” said Bint. “I would like to thank Ian for all the great work he has done in the role over the years and wish him a very happy retirement.”
Mills joined in 1978 from the Inland Revenue where he had served as a tax inspector. He was named a tax partner in 1978 and became the firm’s senior partner in 2005.
The firm is led by managing partner Martin Goodchild.
