DELOITTE is expected to name Barry Salzberg as new international chief executive today.
Salzberg, according to the International Business Times, has been chief executive of the firm in the US since 2007 and will take over the international role from James Quigley.
The US CEO was previously managing partner and before that national head of tax in the US. He joined the firm in 1977 and became a partner in 1985.
A profile on Deloitte’s website says Salzberg is known for “building opportunities for tomorrow’s leaders” and for promoting diversity in the workplace.
