The UK and Ireland office of financial technology giant SAP has promoted Elena Shishkina to CFO of the region
ELENA SHISHKINA takes the chief financial officer role at German technology giant SAP’s UK and Ireland (UKI) regions.
She joined the German IT business in 2005 working with the chief operating officer for two years in the company’s Commonwealth of Independence State (CIS) in Russia. She was most recently CFO and acting general manager for that region
Shishkina will take on responsibility of financial management, compliance and growth for the financial software business in her new role.
“We are already a leader in our market and we want to continue not just to be a leader, but to grow and be the best we possibly can be. To do this we need to continue to hone in on and manage financial risk and drive efficiencies through timely, informed decisions and effective process management,” said Shishkina.
She has more than 13 years’ experience in business having worked as CFO of ASB Reitung in Russia, and a consultant for InterMatrix.
Tim Noble, SAP UKI MD, said: “The finance function of SAP [UKI] is critical to our success in the marketplace and I am delighted to welcome Elena, with such a wealth of experience into this role, and to our management team here in the UK.”
