Budget2011: Business rate relief extended

Chancellor announces rate relief holiday will be extended to October 2012 at a cost £370m to the treasury

CHANCELLOR GEORGE Osborne announces that the business rate relief holiday will be extended to October 2012.

It was previously announced that the rate relief would end in October this year.

However, the Chancellor has announced at a cost to the treasury of £370m it is extended by a year.
