LORNA PEERS has moved up to the FD spot at biopharmaceutical manufacturer Angel Biotechnology after just nine months.
Peers joined the business in June last year as financial controller. Prior to that she was financial controller of biotechnology company Stem Cell Sciences and has had finance roles at RBS and The Royce Consultancy.
Paul Harper, Angel’s chairman, said: “Lorna joined the company in June 2010 and immediately made an impact on the financial management of the business.
“She has played a key role in formulating the expansion plan for the business and in developing our strategy moving forward. We are very pleased to have Lorna as part of the senior team and expect her to play a major role in delivering growth targets that we have set for the business.”
