New CFO for Clydesdale and Yorkshire banks

Scott Butterworth takes on CFO post from Iain Smith

A NEW CFO has been appointed at Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks.

Scott Butterworth takes on the CFO role from Iain Smith, who retires at the end of February.

Butterworth has joined from the National Australia Bank parent group, where he was CFO for NAB’s Melbourne-based business services division.

His appointment is subject to FSA regulatory approval under Approved Person rules.

Smith spent 28 years in banking roles with Woolwich and Barclays after qualifying as an accountant at Deloitte.
