KPMG hires new hedge funds head

Robert Mirsky joins KPMG from Laven Partners

ROBERT MIRSKY is the new head of hedge funds for KPMG UK.

He joins from Laven Partners, a specialist management consultancy, where he was MD.

A US-trained lawyer, he is a previous partner in E&Y’s hedge fund practice.

He is also chairman and founder of the industry-supported charity Hedge Funds Care UK which works toward the treatment and prevention of child abuse.

“With the continuing need for liquidity and yield offered by hedge funds, and the challenges to the industry posed by changing regulation, working with our clients to find both solutions and opportunities is more important than ever,” said Mirsky.
