Rugby Football Union signs deal to join online buying group

THE RUGBY Football Union (RFU) hopes to save £300,000 by signing a deal to join a procurement group.

The contract places the RFU within an online group that enables the union to take advantage of collective spending power to achieve better prices.

The online group is connected via Compleat’s procure-to-pay technology.

RFU head of finance John Moulson said the deal signed with Compleat will pay for itself through stationery savings alone, and “anything else is a bonus”.
