Nick Humby, former group FD at Manchester United, becomes interim CFO at camera equipment maker Vitec
THE FORMER FD of Manchester united has signed up at camera equipment maker Vitec on an interim basis.
Nick Humby stepped into the breach at Vitec as interim chief financial officer after group FD Richard Cotton stepped down with immediate effect for personal reasons. He had been with the company for two years.
Humby will oversee the finance function until a permanent replacement is found. The recruitment process has already commenced.
Between 2002 and 2007, Humby was group finance director at Manchester United. After that he became CFO of Top Up TV. He is currently a non-exec and audit committee member at the Football Association.
