Security business G4S appoints Stuart Curl as FD for its UK and Africa operations
STUART CURL has been named regional finance director for security business G4S Secure Solutions.
Curl will be responsible for the UK and Africa and has held several senior finance roles at various IT businesses. He was most recently working with the financial ombudsman service as part of his role at LP partners, an IT service company. Curt has also worked as CFO at HP Enterprises, Atos Origin and SchlumbergerSema.
He succeeds James Darnton, who becomes CFO of G4S Asia and Middle-East, and will be based in Hong Kong.
David Taylor-Smith, G4S’s regional CEO for UK, and Africa, said: “Stuart brings with him a wealth of financial knowledge from a number of different industry sectors. His experience of these sectors together with his government and business outsourcing knowledge will add a new perspective to our financial resource which will help in supporting our new business opportunities.”
