PUNCH TAVERNS has promoted group financial controller Steve Dando to the position of acting finance director following the resignation of Phil Dutton.
He will take up the role when Dutton departs at the end of the month.
Dando joined Punch Taverns in 2003 as chief accountant and made group financial controller in 2009. He is credited with having played a major role in the corporate financing and structuring of the group. Prior to Punch Taverns, he held a number of senior finance roles with fabric maker Courtaulds and Big Four firm PwC.
