    Robert Walters posts strong Q4 figures

    UK performance strong in Q4 2010, but recruiter flags up continuing uncertainty in the region's economic situation

    UK GROSS PROFITS climbed 37% in Q4 2010 for recruiter Robert Walters, compared to a year earlier.

    Profits for the region climbed to £11.6m from £8.5m. Group profits for Q4 climbed 37% in constant currency exchange rates to £40.6m.

    Chief executive Robert Walters said group activities were expected to remain strong, “notwithstanding an uncertain economic backdrop in the UK”.

    Its share price climbed more than 1.5% during this morning’s trading.
