ANDREY MARUTA is promoted to finance director of Russia at mining business Petropavlovsk.
Maruta is promoted from group financial controller. He qualified with Moore Stephens in 2001.
Prior to a merger with Aricom in 2009 the business was called Peter Hambro. Maruta joined Peter Hambro as group chief accountant in 2003 working his way up to deputy FD and FD prior to its merger.
Petropavlovsk also announced that Peter Hill-Wood, chairman of Arsenal Football Club, relinquished his role as senior non-executive director at the business, he is succeeded by Graham Birch.
