Diageo FD take BT non-exec role
Nick Rose to join BT's board as a non-executive director
Nick Rose, outgoing group FD of Diageo, is joining the BT board as a non-executive director in January.
Rose began his career in Ford Motor Company before returning to the UK, where he was part of the creation of Diageo from the merger of Grand Met and Guinness.
He joined Diageo’s board as group FD in 1999.
BT chairman Sir Mike Rake said: “Nick has an outstanding track record of innovation and delivery. His knowledge and experience will prove a tremendous asset to the Board in helping us build a better future for all our stakeholders.”
Rose was appointed non-executive director of BAE Systems in February, and has previously served in non-exec positions at Möet Hennessy SNC and Scottish Power.
