Colgate-Palmolive names Dennis Hickey as its new chief financial officer
COLGATE-PALMOLIVE, the toothpaste to pet food consumer goods company, has announced a new chief financial officer.
Dennis Hickey, currently vice president and corporate controller, will on 1 January become CFO of the company, whose brands include Ajax and Irish Spring, as well as the eponymous toothpaste.
He will replace Stephen Patrick, who will assume the role of vice chairman until his retirement in March 2011.
Hickey, a certified public accountant, has been Colgate’s vice president and corporate controller since 1998. Since joining Colgate in 1977, he has held key financial positions within the company including in the European and North American business units and the corporate audit unit.
