Devro FD retires
Manufacturers Devro has already begun the search to succeed Peter Williams who retires as FD in April 2011
MANUFACTURER DEVRO is on the look-out for a new finance director after current FD Peter Williams announced his retirement.
The group finance director joined the business in May 2008 and is due to leave the board on 6 April 2011, following a handover period with his successor.
Williams was previously CFO of sustainable aquaculture and salmon farming business Cermaq. He has also held a number of senior finance positions at Pringle of Scotland and Courtaulds Textiles. He qualified with Coopers & Lybrand in Edinburgh.
Steve Hannam, chairman of Devro, said: “Peter has been with the company during a period of quite exceptional growth, and we thank him for his considerable contribution.”
The company has already appointed a recruitment consultant firm to search for a successor.
