Bruce Cartwright, Laurie Manson and Ian Green are appointed administrators of Leaseway Vehicle Rental
ADMINISTRATORS FROM PwC have been appointed to Leaseway Vehicle Rental.
Bruce Cartwright (pictured), Laurie Manson and Ian Green of PwC were appointed joint administrators to the commercial vehicle leasing company on 1 December.
It currently employs 225 people and has approximately 13,000 vehicles.
Cartwright, head of business recovery at PwC Scotland, said the administrators would continue to trade the business and meet contractual obligations, while also seeking a buyer.
The business, which was established n 2003, leases directly to companies. Approximately 80% of its fleet is made up of commercial vehicles, such as vans and 20% are cars. It has sites in Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
