SAP expert Gavin Webb leaves PwC for Deloitte
Gavin Webb has been appointed to lead Deloitte’s application controls team within its information and technology risk practice.
The department consists of more than 500 professionals helping clients deal with complex risk and control issues. Webb was formerly SAP practice lead at PwC, and has more than nine years’ experience dealing with SAP technology.
“Many of Deloitte’s clients are looking at their transactional and reporting processes. Gavin will be helping clients review whether they are performing unnecessary approvals, reconciliations and reporting. His team will help clients simplify their SAP processes,” said the department’s head Simon Owen.
“I am looking forward to creating a team of 40 application control experts over the next three years and building a multi million pound business,” said Webb.
