Corbett’s Bookshops takes on administrators

David Matthews and Martin Ellis from Grant Thronton look to sell on local community bookseller

Partners at Grant Thornton have been appointed as administrators of Corbett’s
Bookshops after the company succumbed to recessionary pressures and competition
from the internet.

David Matthews and Martin Ellis are looking to sell the shops in Tring,
Princes Risborough, Harpenden and West Byfleet as a going concern and all will
continue to trade while options are being explored.
