PwC and Chantrey Vellacott team up in administration

Gibraltar law company needs two firms for its liquidation

Administrators from PwC and Chantrey Vellacott have teamed up to take on the
liquidation of international law firm Marrache & Co.

Adrian Hyde, partner in business recovery at Chantrey Vellacott and Edgar
Lavarello a partner at PwC in Spain were appointed joint liquidators of the
Gibraltar based firm.

Hyde said: “This is a high profile, international appointment and the
opportunity to work closely with PwC and the FSC to minimise the disruption to
this otherwise healthy financial market is a very satisfying assignment.”

Marrache & Co has office in Spain, London, Gibraltar, Portugal Luxembourg
and Czech Republic. The firm operates a trust company and a corporate management
business as well as providing a range of corporate and private client legal
services.
