Kier Group loses finance director
Balfour Beatty finance director fills a hole for Kier
Deena Mattar, the finance director of contruction specialists the
Kier Group, is to leave
the company in November.
Kier has, however, already secured the services of Balfour Beatty deputy
group FD Haydn Mursell who will join Kier in mid-August.
Mursell is a member of the ICAEW and qualified with KPMG.
Kier chairman Phil White said Mattar would be missed but Mursell had the
skills to make an “excellent” addition to the team.
November last year saw a change at the top when it was announced Kier chief
executive John Dodds was standing down to be replaced by Kier staffer Paul
Shieffield.
A recent trading update from the firm said full year results would be at the
upper end of expectations and ahead of last year’s results.
