De La Rue finance director takes on COO role
Colin Child steps up to cover operating responsibility at the money printer just two months after joining
Money printer De La
Rue has increased group FD Colin Child’s responsibilities.
He takes on the COO role while the company looks for a new chief executive
after the departure of James Hussey. He resigned due to problems with quality
and production at one of its production facilities.
Child joined De La Rue in June 2010. He was previously group FD at DTZ
Holdings, and has held roles as group FD at Stanley Leisure, Fitness First and
National Express.
