Former PwC boss Poynter takes BAT role

Former PwC chairman Kieran Poynter to join British American Tobacco

Former PwC chairman and senior partner Kieran Poynter is set to join
British American
Tobacco
as a non-executive director.

Poynter takes on the role from 1 July, and is part of a board reshuffle at
the business.

Finance director Ben Stevens takes on the additional role of chief
information officer, while chief operating officer Nicandro Durante is appointed
chief executive.

Durante takes on the top role from February 2011.
