Strong Q3 performance in UK and Europe during tradtionally quiet period, says Robert Walters
Strong performance in the UK boosted recruiter Robert Walters during the
summer.
In a Q3 trading update to 30 September, the recruiter said that trading in
the UK was “positive”, while its offices in Europe achieved a healthy net fee
income during the traditionally more quieter summer period.
UK gross profit climbed to £12.6m, compared to £8.5m a year earlier. Europe
profits climbed to £7.4m from £5.6m.
“Trading in the UK has been positive, in spite of continued economic
uncertainty…” said chief executive Robert Walters.
Group headcount has increased to 1,640, from 1,232 a year earlier.
