Clough in as new Southern Bear FD
Michael Clough moves up to FD at industrial business Southern Bear
Engineering and industrial holding company
Southern
Bear has appointed Michael Clough as its finance director.
He moves up from the financial controller position, having trained at
Deloitte.
Clough also held senior roles at Ruberoid and Tarmac.
Former FD David Parsons is retiring on medical grounds from full-time
working, but will assist in a handover to Clough.
Non-exec and another former FD, Neil McGowan, also leaves the company.
“I wish David and Neil well in the future and would like to thank them for
their considerable input as finance directors to the group in succession one to
the other and as the group has grown over recent years,” said chairman Nigel
Wray.
“I am delighted to welcome Michael to the board and know from experience that
he will continue to prove a valuable asset in his new role.”
