Swiss government agrees deal to hand UBS details to the US
UBS Warburg's US client details to be handed over by Switzerland to the US
The Swiss parliament finally approved rules to enable the handing over of
names of US clients of
UBS Warburg
suspected of evading tax.
Last week the Swiss parliament had voted against hading over the information,
but an agreement was reached yesterday.
More than 4,500 details will be passed across to the US of US citizens
believed to have undeclared assets in their accounts.
