Research indicates independent financial advisers are looking to exploit more
links with accountancy firms for client referrals.
A report from JPMorgan Asset Management has found that more than 80% of the
firms surveyed said there was scope to boost the number of referrals to IFAs,
JPMorgan estimates there are around 119,000 chartered accountants. A total of
43% make a referral more once a month while 26% do so once a quarter.
