BDO lined up for administration of Kiss Travel

BDO administrators expect to be appointed to parent company of Kiss Travel, Flight Options, later today

BDO insolvency practitioners are lined-up as administrators of Flight
Options, which owns Kiss Travel, the troubled British holiday and flight
operator.

Flight Options announced on Tuesday 17 August that its group of companies,
including Kiss Travel, had ceased trading affecting more than 70,000
holidaymakers.

Accountancy Age understands that, although no formal letter of
engagement has been received by BDO, the firm is due to be appointed as
administrators later today.

The collapse of Flight Options has left an estimated 1,500 travelers
stranded the
BBC
reports.

The Civil Aviation Authority said it was “stepping in” to protect customers
and help with their travel requirements.

The tour operator is the latest of 13 firms in the industry to go bust this
