Mining giant says good bye one non-exec and brings on another
A former finance chief has been welcomed into the ranks of mining giant Rio
Tinto.
Ann Godbehere, who was CFO at reinsurer Swiss Re, joins the Rio board
succeeding former Bank of England deputy governor David Clementi, who was a
non-executive.
Godbehere spent 10 years at Swiss Re alongside a number of non-executive
directorships include UBS AG and Prudential plc where she is chair of the audit
committee.
She has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
Jan du Plessis, Rio chairman, welcomed her to the team.
“I am very pleased to welcome Ann to the Rio Tinto boards. She brings
substantial financial services’ experience that will be of particular value to
the Audit committee,” he said.
