Former FTSE 250 CFO takes non-exec and audit committee chair role at media company Future
Media company Future
has recruited former FTSE 250 chief financial officer Mark Whiteling as a
non-executive director.
Whiteling, who will chair the audit committee at Future, has been CFO at
Premier Farnell the distributor of electronic products to the engineering
profession.
He has also held senior finance roles at Communisis, the pan-European print
management business; FTSE 250 company Britten; and SmithKline Beecham, both in
the UK and Europe.
Patrick Taylor, former chair of the audit committee at Future, has decided he
will not put himself up for re-election at the company’s next annual general
meeting.
Roger Parry, chairman at Future, said Whiteling bought varied financial and
public company experience as well as “significant” international perspective to
the board.
