Trafalgar New Homes loses battle to avoid administration despite having a winding up order dismissed earlier this year
Trafalgar New Homes has collapsed, the affordable housing group announced
today.
Trafalgar finally lost its battle to avoid administration despite having a
winding up order dismissed earlier this year.
The company said in July “certain events” had battered the
Trafalgar’s financial position, which led to insolvency advice being sought.
Dealings in the company’s shares were also suspended on 7 July 2010.
“Further to the announcement made on 19 August 2010, the company announces
that Jane Walker of Errington Walker Limited, was appointed on 26 August 2010 as
administrator to the company, pursuant to a filing at court,” Trafalgar said in
a
statement
to the City today.
“Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate,” the company
added.
