Three senior members to face trial over falsifying books and records
Former senior aides of Bernard Madoff have plead not guilty to a raft of
criminal charges as the first trial over the massive £44bn fraud moves closer.
Daniel Bonventre, Jerome O’Hare and George Perez all face charges of
falsifying books and records at Madoff’s brokerage. Bonventre is also accused of
securities fraud, conspiracy and tax charges.
The trail should give investors the first opportunity to discover the inner
workings of Madoff’s fraudulent business, reports the
Telegraph.
