Pru's AIA move prompts UK FD promotion
Andrew Crossley promoted to Prudential UK and Europe deputy chief executive
Prudential’s
$35.5bn (£23.3bn) deal to buy AIA will lead to reshuffle among its UK directors.
Andrew Crossley, managing director finance of Prudential UK and Europe moves
to deputy chief executive.
He is joined as deputy by Barry O’Dwyer, managing director retail life and
pensions.
Their promotions follow the move by Rob Devey, UK and Europe chief executive,
to manage AIA’s integration as project team leader.
Both Crossley and O’Dwyer have day-to-day operational responsibility for the
UK and Europe.
Crossley has served with the insurer for ten years, and was previously group
financial controller at Legal & General.
