Chiene + Tait announce key tax promotions

Lynn Gemmell becomes director of VAT services and John Rodger appointed director of corporate tax services

Edinburgh firm Chiene + Tait (C+T) has promoted two of its key tax advisers.

Lynn Gemmell becomes director of VAT services and John Rodger has been
appointed director of corporate tax services.

The promotions reflect the requirement of a strong tax department, to help
clients with changes to the tax landscape, the firm said.

Gemmell said: “We have a young, enthusiastic VAT team with the expertise
required to meet the demands of C+T clients requiring VAT advisory services. We
can only continue to expand and develop our expertise further, with a view to
expanding our client base significantly and provide further challenging work for
our committed team.”
