Begbies is Caymans-bound, as it expands its offshore practice
The Cayman Islands will now boast a
Begbies
Traynor office, as the listed insolvency firm expands its offshore
practice.
Its Cayman office will focus on insolvency and forensic services for offshore
structures and special investment vehicles – this will also extend the reach of
its joint venture with US financial advisory business Mesirow Financial
Consulting.
Begbies has also teamed up with a practice in the Isle of Man, which joins
the Begbies Global Network. The network is an affiliation of independent firms.
“They will further enhance the group’s existing presence in the important and
rapidly growing offshore markets, giving the group the resources and expertise
to carry out complex and cross-jurisdictional work,” said Begbies executive
chairman Ric Traynor.
The Cayman office will be headed up by Mike Saville. The firm joining the
network in the Isle of Man is Shimmin Wilson & Co.
