MyTravel has announced that John Darlington will replace her on an interim basis.

The travel firm pointed to Darlington’s track record as a ‘turnaround specialist’.

Shares in the group were down 5% at one stage following the announcement of Kantor’s departure.

MyTravel posted three profit warnings last year but a £1.3bn refinancing deal announced in June gave the company some breathing space.
